Sketchbook update

always have sketch book around..
sketch will meeting..waiting etc..try to make it as a habit to keep the drawing grove moving..
i think i got 3 sketchbooks need to be scan..

back then always sketch on a piece of paper..then it was all over the place,,,in studio..on shelves..pile of papers..in office ..studio..bag..folder..it was everywhere..

now..i need a sketchbook..a thick with a good thick cover..
think I've started collecting my own sketch book...

Daily digital sketch: Midnighter

i first read Authority because of Frank Quitely artwork..
then i was hook..
its over the edge superhero team book..more realistic and touching political issues and farfetched ideas..

and the concept of midnighter is a darker edgy gritter brutal version of Batman.. and i love it.
here's my process..to finish the digital sketch..

doing it while i'm involve with Reality TV programme with RTM and uitm called 'Digista Teen 2011'..as one of the assistant coordinator and mentor. it runs closed to 20 days..
yup in between busy with class, the programme and pitching for IPCC digital comic..we didnt win it..but will publish it..one day..

saya masih sibuk dengan kerja-kerja untuk sara hidup...dan progress Liga Pendekar #2 masih siap 66pg thumbnail sketch.. dan setelah gagal dalam IPCC 2011 digital pitch..( hanya 17 pemenang dari 20 yang sepatutnya menang)..saya akan suba usahakan komik Quasa ini di terbitkan..

tapi kenapa pihak juri memilih 17 pemenang wal hal..di peruntukkan untuk 20 pemenang..ianya satu tanda tanya yang tiada jawapan dan penjelasan dari pihak MDEC dan juri..

takpa life's goes on..

kita hanya merancang..

memandangkan Afdlin Shauki dah update di FB nye akan concept ini..
maka saya letakla di blog saya..
rasanya Papadom2 bakal di tayangkan pada 2012..tak tahulah..banyak filem Afdlin di tangguh..ke 2-3 tahun kemudiannya..entahlah..

Sunday Digital sektch: HellBoy

now involve with RTM & UiTM reality show called 'DigiSta'..as one of the mentors
going into day 02 shooting..so did some Digital Doodle
as for our IPCC DIgital Pitch grant,,we didn't win nor get the grant..
not our day..no luck for us..it will be nice if we get the grant/win..really want Mustaqim..co creator of Quasa to get his first comic gig (paid by Mdec)..a comic that we own the copyright.

tapi tak pa..kena chuba lagi...try idea yg menjadi pilihan juri..
camna pon..

will try..publish Quasa....its a matter of time...

a pitch for grant  to jump start a new digital comic..then later to be publish ..
it was an enjoyable ride for me through out the presentation..

3D: Daredevil Digital Doodle

try hard to regularly update blog.

lepas cuti raya..terus jump start sibuk bekerja...back to rush work after a week break holiday.

yup..me with more talented good artist ( way better establish than me) has started a comic art jam group ala Comictwart its called drawLAAH!
i am so lucky to be part of the group..coz i'm the lousy sketch artist among em..

so heres the doodle..so excited so i start the jam with Daredevil..coz i love the new run by Mark Waid and i love Paolo Reveira & Marcoz Martin artwork..

now time to sleep..tomorrow have to wake up early and a pitch to present.
