Punisher: KL Drink & Draw session 01

coming to the end of June...
soo many things i wanted to share on this blog: controversial issue on my comic Liga Pendekar won 5 awards on the first Malaysia comic award,,my working trip to London..review on my LIga Pendekar by people in blogs and forum..my article'Liga pendekar' in Majalah Warisan...my interview on 21st may on PeKOMIK & Liga Pendekar at Radio24 fm. the drink & draw session...and most recently..my gum..swelling toothache problem..

maka..selama seminggu menanggung derita sakit gigi..gusi bengkak gila..sampai kena minor surgery..buang nanah kat bengkak dalam mulut..kira 3 hari tanggung seksa..bermula sabtu malam..hingga isnin..buat minor surgeri..dan baru merasa ubat 'pain killer' antibiotik dan bermacam ubat..so bila dah makan ubat...ngantuk la..tapi malam sebelum sakit gigi..jumaat tuh ada la session 'drink & draw'..kira macam kat US..pekomik cam eric canete..dustin nguyen..dan dave johnson ada lakukan aktiviti begini,,di bar la..sambil lelepak kengkawan..pastu melukis..minum beer..makan...berborak..tapi kat KL ni ..x de alkohol la..

lepak di subway, centrepoint..bersama Alan Quah (kena balik awal tgk movie), Ssheldon Goh dan Faezal Tan..
so..saya ceritakan perihal lukisan Garlon Parlov yg ( i really love his style) influence by Alex tooth ..dan saya discover lukisannya dalam series Punisher MAX...

so then they decide on Punisher..memandangkan saya ada bawa sketchbook yg ada fanart punisher yg tak sesiap..makan apalgi..i just finish up the sketch.. ini l RESultnya..belasah jer:

Azhar brush inking Elephant Army

Azhar Live Inking Demo @ PeKOMIK Day, Read Malaysia Mines Convention Centre

so embarrassing.. i'm still new to comic scene here in Malaysia..and yet ..i record myself and giving talk on inking comic..how ironic..

belasah jer inking ni...camna pon ini inking style saya..yg masih mentah dan raw..belasah jer..cuba nak promote awareness akan Komik Malaysia.. di mana2 event PeKOMIk..

Inking progress

finally i can sit down and concentrate on my comic work...

page ni terkandas sejak 6 januari 2007..bila isteriku melahirkan puteri pertamaku di HKL.. pastu projek ni terbengkalai untuk menyiapkan komik LIga Pendekar yang memenangi Mdec Digital Comic Pitch 2006. background hutan tu di touch semalam ya..asalnya takde background sejak januari 2007.

kini akhirnya ianya berjaya diinking..dan di siapkan..jenuh nak siapkan double page spread nih.. tak pa...'the ball has start rolling'...feeel semangat nak buat komik dah bermula sejak selesai event PeKOMIKOn dan Anugerah PeKOMIK 25 April lalu...

ya... masih banyak kekurangan akan lukisan saya..saya akan cuba pertingkatkan.
